Bell & Howell, one of Chicago’s oldest companies, and one of the most respected brands in America, faced a peculiar challenge: how to present in its annual report the synergy of four companies leftover from earlier acquisitions.

Working with the theme “Transforming Information,” we used a mix of interesting visual metaphors and short stories to explain to readers how the businesses behind the company were poised for continued growth and prosperity.

That report was honored as one of the NIRI/Triad Award’s Top Ten annual reports.
