A new e-commerce company introduced very sophisticated software that helped food manufacturers and stores use the Web to synchronize the information they exchanged relative to the manufacturer’s item, its price and any relevant trade promotions.
We deployed a mix of articles bylined by e-commerce experts, case histories demonstrating the ROI that both manufacturers and retailers could achieve, high-level panel discussions at trade shows, and an aggressive, targeted media outreach program.
The company succeeded in capturing the top spot in the category — and a new industry term, “data synchronization,” became synonymous with the viaLink Company name.
